PRIMAL FEAR Bassist Says He May Join RENATO TRIBUZY For South American Tour
June 18, 2005PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner has posted the following message on his official web site:
"Renato Tribuzy's [former THOTEN singer] project 'Execution' will be released on June 22nd in South America and Japan, one week later in Europe on July 1st. The album features his version of my song 'The Nature Of Evil', played by Kiko Loureiro (guitar, ANGRA),Dennis Ward (bass, PINK CREAM 69) plus others. I sing lead vocals on the song, sharing with Renato and backing vocals by Ralf Scheepers [PRIMAL FEAR]. Other tracks on the album feature IRON MAIDEN's Bruce Dickinson, Roy Z. [BRUCE DISKINSON, HALFORD] and Michael Kiske [ex-HELLOWEEN]. Check out the album! Could be possible that the entire lineup will play four shows in South America in November!"
In a separate posting, Sinner wrote, "I've just recorded vocals & bass on two tracks for [Sinner's reunited first band] SHIVA — 'This Ain't Love' and 'Hold On'. One track will appear on a forthcoming AIDS benefit compilation. The other track will appear on a special compilation following my book project 'Chronicles' in January 2006.
"I've nearly finsihed my book during my stay in Vancouver, but there are a lot of more things to add. Now I have to finish the new PRIMAL FEAR album, 'Seven Seals', first, including all the cover artwork and photo stuff, mastering and the video clips. Everybody who could listen to the album so far is totally surprised about the music and production — nice! We will present the album to 20 European journalists on July 30th. The first video clip will be shot on July 8th in Munich with AVA Studios and director Volker Hannwacker (who did the 'Armageddon' video clip with us). It will be the first single of the album, the title track 'Seven Seals'. A second clip will be shot directly following the first one. We're not 100% sure at the moment, but it could be well the ear-crushing 'Evil Spell'. The album will be released by Nuclear Blast worldwide, except Japan/Asia via longtime partner JVC, on October 24th with a world tour following in early 2006!"
